Wondering where to see Holiday lights this season? Check out some of the great locations
I love this place! During Covid this was such a hit. We could enjoy the lights without leaving our cars. We have gone back every year since then!
Santa's Ranch Drive Thru Christmas Light Park
This one is really big and lots of walking. I think it was a drive thru light show during Covid but I believe it’s gone back to walking.
Austin Trail of Lights
They added the “ribbonesque” tree a few years ago. It was such a controversy on the local FB groups. Haha I like coming here because it’s free and you can take your time.
Celebrate Christmas in Kyle! Check out Holiday Events, New Light Displays ...
This location is off the water and during Christmas it’s magical. They have a tree that has lights that dance to the music. Of course they have the UT fight song playing every now and then. Plus you can grab a hot coffee.
Mozart's Coffee Roasters
This one is great too! It also went to a drive thru experience during Covid. I do not know if it went back to walking. They have a lot of food but sometimes the parking sucks.
The Sweetest Way to Spend Your Holidays - Peppermint Parkway
We went here last year. I loved it! The line was long to get in but once inside they allow you to order food while you’re getting close to entering the light show. They have lights at the bottom of the drinks and great popcorn!
Christmas Lights in Round Rock, TX
I have not been here yet. I am reallllly wanting to go. The prices look a little expensive but the photos seem like it’s worth it!
Santa's Wonderland
This one is always a hit! A lot of local schools will have children singing on the stage. They have Santa walking around and a carnival.
Home - Sights & Sounds of Christmas Festival, San Marcos, TX
This is a beautiful light show as well!
Johnson City Texas Lights Spectacular - Holiday Lights Event
For these lights you usually will park at the Cabelas nearby. They will have multiple shuttles to take you then the lights. They always have great food and there will be many photo ops!
Buda Holiday Lights
I’ve never been to this one but it looks pretty nice. About 1 hour outside of Austin.
