Many of these albums are from DIY bands & deal with topics ranging from how fucked up life can be to politics to breakups. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re willing to look, there’s a lot of treasures to be found.
This is the comeback the world needed in 2025. The political discourse of this album is so poignant & feels so classically Algernon & fresh at the same time. A lot to chew on with this record & I can’t stop playing it.

This is such a coming of age album for me & it wrestles with a lot of social issues that I think are truly timeless. This is my favorite album of all time cause I can always go back to this & feel a different way.
