I have the matte version and I love it. My only complaint is that the outside has stained and I can’t clean it. Knowing this I would get a shiny finish. But I do think this is a great product at a good price point

Accessories

Everything in this category in my opinion is extra/nice to have. A lot of it can be substituted with things you might already have in your kitchen. If you are truly invested in sourdough, I would slowly invest.

Honestly, don't buy a container for your starter. Reuse a pasta jar or any glass jar you've bought food in. Don't waste your money on a weck jar-- you don't need an airtight jar for starter, it needs air! But if you insist on purchasing something get...

Infused salt is also delicious on top of some butter. Jacobsen's has a bunch of different flavors. I just happen to love rosemary.
