Wonderful book! One of my favorite classics out of my personal collection. Beautiful and real prose about growing up in a world that feels cold and trying to find a place in adulthood. Relatable for everyone who’s ever been a teenager.
The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger, Paperback
Fantastic classic for lovers of drama and slightly gothic literature.
Wuthering Heights (Wordsworth Classics)
Also great for lovers of gothic themes! Lots of drama and horror. Slightly difficult read but very rewarding
Frankenstein (Dover Thrift Editions)
Set in 1920s America. The story of the American dream, a wonderful and dramatic social commentary that is also super fun to analyze
The Great Gatsby: Only Authorized Edition
Definitely an inventive and crazy read. Says a lot about America and good if you like dystopias or have an interest in linguistics. Not my favorite classic but I’m glad I read it!
