I have these in several bags. It’s what I reach for when I don’t really want to wear lipstick but still want something on my lips that makes me look a little more put together.

Fame Flame is my go-to red. It has enough color that I usually keep the rest of my makeup fairly simple and let the lipstick do the work.

I like eye makeup that gives me definition without turning the whole thing into a project. These are the palettes, sticks and mascaras I keep coming back to, plus the remover I use when waterproof Japanese mascara refuses to budge.

I own five of these palettes, which probably tells you everything. The colors are beautiful and very wearable, and I actually use them rather than buying a palette for one shade and ignoring the rest.

I always look at these when I’m in Japan because they’re inexpensive and there are so many colors. They’re perfect when I want to try something different without spending much on a shade I might only wear occasionally.
