Actives that you can’t miss from your routine!
I introduced azelaic acid at the recommendation of my dermatologist. This is a great and affordable option for anyone that needs the benefits of azelaic acid for acne and/or rosacea.
Geek and Gorgeous aPAD Azelaic Serum
I struggle with having very thin skin around my eyes with visible veins. This eye serum is fantastic in keeping the area looking fresh. I use it sparingly, max 3 times a week, because retinal can become quite drying.
Beauty Of Joseon - Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal
She is the newest addition to my skincare shelf, but she’s just that girl. Illuminates like no other!
Clinique Moisture Surge Serum
Creams
Moisturise, moisturise and moisturise!
This cream is so gentle! And it doesn’t peel under makeup. It’s great to use also at night after a retinol for the eye area.
LRP Toleriane Dermallergo Eye Cream
This cream is really hydrating and has some anti aging properties (because it has so many peptides in it!)
Cicaplast is a product that everyone should own. It’s great for injuries as well as a mask for when your face is more irritated.
La Roche Posay Cicaplast
This is the heavy duty brother of Cicaplast. Great for acne. I used it under my bridal makeup! Super good as a primer
Avène Cicalfate
This moisturiser is rich in ceramides and has some niacinamide. Perfect to strengthen your skin barrier and light enough for those of us that hate to feel their skincare on their face.

I pondered a long time which led mask is ideal for me. I really love this one from Koanna! The price is right for what you get and the support from the team has been amazing when I had an issue with the delivery. I am already starting to see good res...

The last step of your skincare routine!
Rosehip Oil is sooo soothing. Usually you would tend to stay away from oils with such skin problems, but really, you shouldn’t. There’s plenty of options like this one from The Inkeylist to try! Layer on after your moisturiser.

SPF
I hope you’re wearing your spf religiously!
My favorite sunscreen hands down! She wears beautifully under my makeup, doesn’t cause redness and I feel like it doubles as a nice moisturiser.

Cleansers
Controversially, I only use cleansers in my nighttime routine. But this has made my skin to be less dry and prone to overproduction of sebum!
I made the switch last year from foaming cleansers to more gentle, cream cleansers. I love this one and it goes a long way! I am on my 3rd bottle.
As an advice, always double cleanse especially when you wear sunscreen or makeup!
Cetaphil Gentle Cream Cleanser
She is a cult classic for a reason! Other micellar waters just aren’t as good in taking of makeup and they need to be rinsed off with water. Which if you’re like me, it can irritate your skin.
Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water
The Oat Cleansing Balm has been my OG for heavy duty makeup for a while now or whenever I feel like I want a deeper cleanse than I can do with just the Cetaphil and Micellar Water.
It has some oat particles that do a little exfoliating without stripp...
The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm
For a foaming cleanser this one really hits the spot for me! Super gentle and takes out all the leftovers of makeup leaving you fresh but not crusty.
