The list of books I have read last year was pathetically short, I have a goal to read 30 books this year! See what was a hit and what was a miss!
2 months left in the year. Stay tuned to see if I reach my goal.
First book of the year and it did not disappoint! I’m a big Emily Henry fan.
Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry | Goodreads
AMAZE AMAZE AMAZE! Not normally a SciFi gal but I loved this book! I think it will be one of my favorite books I will read this year. It’s a great audiobook as well.
Project Hail Mary - Official Trailer - YouTube
I am trying to venture out and reading different genres this year. This is a good book to dip your toes in fantasy if that’s not something you typically read. It was an easy read and pretty entertaining.
The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown | Goodreads
This book was actually insanity. I have never read a book with the main character so unlikable. I bet this will be a movie and I cannot wait to see it!!!
Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke
This was one on my TBR for a while! To be honest, it is not my favorite book. I found it slow. However, it is so beautifully written, I am glad I read it. I know it’s conflicting, you will just have to read it to understand.
Theo of Golden: A Novel - Levi, Allen: Books
The author of The Help wrote this book. It was pretty good! It’s lengthy, about 600 pages. I found it slow at times. Overall, a very entertaining read.
The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett
This is a book I read with my husband and it was great! Helped us strengthen our marriage and full of Gospel Centered truth.
Love That Lasts (Paperback) by Gary Ricucci and Betsy
This is one of the best books I read for my faith. I would challenge anyone to read this regardless of your faith background. Tim Keller’s work has so much depth and intellection. Profoundly impactful. The perfect audiobook you can get lost in while ...
The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism
Listened to the audiobook version of this for book club. Very entertaining!
The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern's Tale
Tbh did not love this one. But if you love fantasy, you would probably enjoy this.
Jade City (The Green Bone Saga, 1): Lee, Fonda
LOVE THIS BOOK! I am not even a mom. I just thought the concept of an American journalist embarking on her motherhood journey in France sounded interesting. It was so entertaining and I learned some things for when I am a mom one day.
Bringing Up Bebe: One American Mother Discovers
Listened to the audiobook of this and it had me crying on the way to work every day. Makes me want to call my grandparents. A wonderful and short read.
Dust to Dust by Jen Wilkin (Review): Aging Wisely
A very easy-to-read murder mystery! It was a great fall read
