My first read of 2026. I loved the character development, twists, and that the characters acted their age; so many tv shows have teenagers that act like full grown adults. 10/10. Definitely give this a read.
Nawlins: School of the Gifted by Deric Augustine
I don't know what to say about this book apart from that it was exactly what I'd hoped it would be. There's romance, vampires, high stakes, and a happy ending.
Fang Fiction by Kate Stayman-London | Waterstones
So cute, so cosy, just what i needed at the time.
Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree | Waterstones
Second in the series. Loved it, loved the cosiness and story development.
Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree | Waterstones
I loved the romance, the ending, and the twist!

Currently reading but good enough to add to the list
The Poppy War Boxset by R.F. Kuang | Waterstones
My favourite book of 2025. So beautiful, heart wrenching, and an interesting exploration of life in academia.

Yellowface by R.F. Kuang | Waterstones
This book had me confused and thinking about so many different elements. I learned so much from it about Korean history. Definitely treat yourself to this special edition for the sprayed edges 😍
We Do Not Part by Han Kang, e. yaewon | Waterstones
Worth the hype. Had deep thoughts about life and the experience of being a woman after reading. Would recommend.
Butter by Asako Yuzuki | Waterstones
