One of the best “trapped by zombies” movies I’ve seen. How long can you survive in a mall until “they” get in?
Dawn of the Dead (2004) ⭐ 7.2 | Action, Horror
I’ll argue this was scarier than the first movie. Terrifying zombie chase scenes had me stressed out!
28 Weeks Later (2007)
This movie was savage. Truly terrifying tale of what can happen when you stumble across the wrong crowd. Plus I love Kelly from Yellowstone, so that was an added perk.
Eden Lake (2008)
Not sure if these creatures were vampires or monsters, but this series had me hooked! I loved watching an apocalypse unfold.
The Strain (TV Series 2014–2017) ⭐ 7.3 | Drama, Fantasy, Horror
This felt like a modern spin on an old school slasher movie. The characters were quirky and the suspenseful storyline kept me interested and creeped out.
The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014)
I screamed out loud. Twice. Alone in my living room. That’s all I’ll say about this movie.
Hereditary (2018)
I’ve only watched this one once. I was too creeped out to ever repeat it.
