I loved how personal and emotional it feels, like you’re inside the character’s thoughts the whole time. It’s not dramatic in a loud way, but it stays with you long after you finish it.

Lout of Count's Family (Novel) Vol. 1
I actually enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected 😭 The story feels like it really expands the world, especially with the whole Whale Tribe and the mermaid conflict—it makes everything feel bigger and more alive.
Lout of Count's Family (Novel) Vol. 2
What stood out to me is how much more strategic everything feels here there’s more planning, more political tension, and way more moving pieces at once. It makes the whole story feel heavier and more intense compared to the earlier volumes.
Lout of Count's Family (Novel) Vol. 3
It’s so funny watching Cale try to convince the world that he's actually just trying to live his slacker life😂
Lout of Count's Family (Novel) Vol. 4
This volume honestly felt like things were getting way more serious and intense Cale is still doing his usual “I just want a peaceful life” act, but at this point it’s basically impossible because everything around him keeps escalating.
Lout of Count's Family (Novel) Vol. 5
Overall, this one feels like a big setup volume for even more massive events later, and I’m honestly excited for what comes next
Lout of Count's Family (Novel) Vol. 6
The tension is constant, and I liked how it really focuses on how connected everyone is to Cale at this point—like the whole world is basically tied together because of him.
Lout of Count's Family (Novel) Vol. 7
Cale still tries to control everything from the shadows, but here it feels like even his usual planning isn’t enough because the enemies are finally showing their real power and those terrifying alchemy weapons.
Lout of Count's Family (Novel) Vol. 8
The characters are all developed well, and I know there will be continued character growth/development as the series continues.
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (Novel), Vol. 1
I love the landlord arc, it expands the world and lot more as we are introduced to more important characters from TWSA.
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (Novel), Vol. 2
Kim Dokja is a scheming schemer who schemes, and I really enjoy that.
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (Novel), Vol. 3
I've been reading this series since I was 10 and I still keep going back to it.
Wild Born (Spirit Animals, Book 1)
I honestly loved how much more intense this one felt compared to the first. The stakes are higher, the characters start to grow in really interesting ways, and you can feel the tension building with every chapter.
Hunted (Spirit Animals, Book 2)
I feel like this is where the series really starts getting intense. The story focuses a lot more on Meilin, and I actually loved seeing her take risks and go off on her own—it made everything feel more personal and emotional.
Blood Ties (Spirit Animals, Book 3)
The journey into the frozen north makes everything feel more dangerous, and you can really tell the team is under pressure with the Conquerors always close behind.
Fire and Ice (Spirit Animals, Book 4)
SPOILER‼️

The whole “there’s a traitor among them” twist kept me hooked the entire time. I kept second-guessing everything and everyone, which made it way more exciting to read
Against the Tide (Spirit Animals, Book 5)
This one felt like a real turning point in the series for me. The whole desert setting with Cabaro and the golden oasis made everything feel more intense and unpredictable.
Rise and Fall (Spirit Animals, Book 6)
I liked how the themes of trust, teamwork, and sacrifice really peak here. It’s fast-paced, a bit overwhelming at times, but in a way that makes the finale feel even more important and dramatic.
The Evertree (Spirit Animals, Book 7)
I normally am a quick reader but i savored every second and read this book at a slower pace than normal
This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me
I can’t recommend this one enough

Pre-Owned Broken Ground (Spirit Animals: Fall of the Beasts, Book 2): Volume 2 (Hardcover) 0545854423 9780545854429
You really see Rollan's better sides here. His kindness, and how his past helps his future. LeReimaja is brilliant. It was so clever to bring her into it and in that way.
The Return (Spirit Animals: Fall of the Beasts, Book 3)

The Burning Tide (Spirit Animals: Fall of the Beasts, Book 4)
Overall, I'm really happy with this one. I was worried after the ending of the last book these last three would just be nonsense to drag the series out more, but at least Prineas did it well!
Heart of the Land (Spirit Animals: Fall of the Beasts, Book 5)
I'm so happy Worthy got his redemption arc finished, but what he did with it doesn't seem right. Overall, I really enjoyed it. The development was great, the journey was great, the villians were villan-y. I loved it for all the same reasons I loved t...
The Wildcat's Claw (Spirit Animals: Fall of the Beasts, Book 6)

So, here I am. At the end of series I truly love! I'm kinda torn. I'm glad it's all wrapped up and come to an end, but at the same time I wish it wasn't. If there is ever a continuation of this series, I'd love for it to jump ahead a few years and fo...

Think fragmented narratives, deep psychological insight, and characters that feel intensely real.
