These are my go-to products for keeping breakouts under control on a daily basis.
I’ve tried a lot of products to keep my oily skin in check, and this one does it without drying me out. It’s a staple in my routine for controlling shine and keeping my pores happy. My skin always feels balanced and never greasy after using this.
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
This treatment combines benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid to fight acne deep within the pores. It’s works crazy fast - reduces any inflammation and redness within 24 hours!
Effaclar Duo Acne Spot Treatment - La Roche-Posay
Gentle but effective, this cleanser balances hydration while clearing away dirt and oil without stripping the skin’s moisture barrier—a must for acne-prone skin.
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
This has recently become a staple in my routine (along with the Ole Henriksen oil control toner as well). Its helped reduce the number of breakouts I get, and also love that it gives your skin this nice tingly fresh and clean feeling afterwards.

This stuff is the bomb dot com. Works wonders for my adult acne.
It's available over the counter most places, but FYI if you are in Canada you will need a prescription to get it here. (Or you can just order it from the iherb.com website, which is what I normally do because its A LOT cheaper. In Canada, the prescription will cost you like $180+, which is insane. Costs me just $30 when I buy it from iherb and it's legit the exact same product!

Differin Gel - Adapalene Retinoid Acne Treatment
Definitely one of the better spot treatments for hormonal acne I have tried that doesn't completely dry my skin out and make it flaky and gross. Also never any pilling even if you apply makeup on top of it. Best part is that it even works on those super deep pimples that you cant even see but hurt like a motherf**er!

Finding a good moisturizer when you have acne is a pain in the ass, lets be real.
My skin is on the oilier side, and I still get dry skin patches sometimes too, especially in the winter. Its next to impossible to find something that works without breaking me out, or making me look like an oil slick after an hour. BUT I have found that these products work great for keeping my skin hydrated year round - and clear.
I can’t get enough of how lightweight this feels. It hydrates but never clogs my pores or makes my skin oily. It gives me the perfect amount of moisture, and I love using it under makeup because it never pills.
Tatcha The Water Cream Lightweight Pore-Refining Moisturizer
This is another fav moisturizer - super light weight and doesn't cause me to break out either. It's also a bit easier on your wallet than the Tatcha one too ;)
