My Easter Basket essentials for my 6ish month old daughter! If you have a little girl that is going to be about 6 months old for Easter… this one's for you! I am taking advantage of the holiday to stock her up with things she can use anytime from now until she turns 1! Some items may not be developmental appropriate just yet, but I'm planning for the months ahead as well! I am a sucker for anything practical and any thing I can personalize. I don't like to over-consume, so a lot of these essentials are items that we would need anyways as we head into Spring and Summer!

Here are the books you will find on our bookshelf for Spring! I like to keep a smaller shelf with seasonal books on it that is easier for my kiddos to pick out books from! I currently have out books for St. Patrick's Day and Easter to get in the holiday spirits. I do mix in a few educational and general books so that there is still variety on the shelf. For reference, my son is 3 and my daughter is under a year old. I aim to keep some longer books on there for my son as well as simpler ones for my daughter! Some of the easier books, my son “reads” to sissy!

We take our playroom very seriously around here! I try to keep it a space both my kids are comfortable and entertained in but also comfortable for mom and dad. The key to a fun but functional playroom is a healthy balance of both open and closed storage! I love to keep puzzles, books, and other non-piecy toys visible and on display. The piecier toys like the excess of monster trucks, cars, legos, tinker toys, etc that we have accumulated go in closed storage. It is so much easier on the eyes this way!

My son is turning 3 this March! I can't believe how fast three years has flown by! I usually create a list for this birthday for family and friends to shop. This way it takes the pressure off them and gives them ideas on his interests!
