I am a sucker for a good superhero movie. I basically grew up with comics and fantasizing about having a superpower. Watch the movies of our beloved superheroes always brought these fantasies to life, here are a couple of my favorites throughout my 2...

DC

DC has been inconsistent when it comes to movies, some are hits and others… not so much, which is a shame because DC is my absolute favorite comic book franchise. Nonetheless here are a few of my absolute favorites to have come out of DC.

This movie actually made me cry with how well made it is. It is so accurate to the comics and David Cornswet brings the character to life. Of course the villain of the story Lex Luthor played by Nicholas Hoult is an absolute unit. They made you hate ...
Superman (2025)

Another incredible portrayal of one of our beloved superheroes. The Batman felt like it was ripped out of the comic book. The centralized aspect of him being a detective, plus the moral and physical conflict Batman goes through, it feels like reading...
The Batman (2022)

This is more or less a controversial pick, but I enjoyed the movie. Blue Beetle has been a lowkey favorite character of mine since watching Batman: The Brave and The Bold series growing up. Granted there are some form of acting loopholes, but overall...
Blue Beetle (2023)

Yes I know they are technically villains, but they are trying to save the world in the movie making them heroes. Now the first Suicide Squad wasn't incredible, but the second… it deserves all the attention. James Gunn perfectly portrayed the goofines...
The Suicide Squad (2021)

This movie came out the year I was born, but to me it is an instant classic in the superhero world and set up an incredible trilogy. I will add more as I add the next two movies as the trilogy is so worth the watch.
Batman Begins (2005)

Hands down the best movie out of the trilogy. Heath Leadger's Joker was an incredible villain who constantly tried testing Batman. I have no words to describe how good of a movie this was you just have to see it for yourself.
The Dark Knight (2008)

I think this is the weakest of the trilogy mostly because the main villain bane isn't that accurate, but the way it is shot is still a cinematic masterpiece. Of course this is still better than most superhero movies out there, but nonetheless an inst...
The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

Marvel

Marvel has put out quite a good amount of movies I would consider to be incredible. Of course in recent years that have thinned out, but that doesn't mean Marvel doesn't have anything good. Here are a couple of my favorites

In my opinion one of the best spiderman movies ever and I do not care that it is animated. It is an incredible movie, I won't say much, go watch it for yourself and be absolutely amazed.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

This was the perfect sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The action, the plot, the soundtrack, everything was incredible. Again I will not say much, you have to watch it for yourself. But I will say that anybody could watch this, meaning it ...
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

This is another one of those trilogies that just resonates with you. I loved Cap after these three movies and this one was an incredible origin story.
Captain America: The First Avenger

I think this is my favorite Captain America movie. I enjoyed the mental conflict Cap faced throughout the entire story to the point where he was question his own tactics. Overall incredible story telling and I highly recommend.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier

It was truly an incredible way to end the first trilogy of Captain America. The conflict is top tier to the point where it feels a little gut wrenching. These three movies made me truly appreciate Captain America with all honesty.
Captain America : Civil War

As an Asian American I absolutely loved this movie. The plot is well made and truly made me feel as though I was in the movie with Shang Chi. Again I highly recommend watching.
Shang-Chi (2021)

Non-Affiliation

For some weird reason this was a good superhero movie. Literally no affiliation with a superhero company and produced a pretty good classic. I would not watch with little kids though, somewhat colorful language. I highly recommend watching.
Hancock (2008)
