Etsy has bee so helpful with being able to plan out my YT videos. It helps me keep track of what I shot aswell so I can finish on time! There are so many different templates. Just get the one that fits your needs!

If you don't create content on your phone DSLR and easy small portable cameras are the next best option to capture a higher quality video with the possibilites being endless ! ♾️
This is my personal camera I use to produce content it is hands down one of the best cameras, and most fun, that I've ever used. Beware the Fx30 has a Cropped sensor meaning the mm on your lens will actually be 1.5x

If you are filming on a DSLR you absolutely need to have a great lens for what specific type of content you shoot. Mind you different DSLR's go with different lenses not all of them are going to fit to each camera ! 📷
I personally use the Sigma 18-35mm on my sony Fx30 and it is great for producing regular youtube content for any niche!

Not an absolute need and definitely are on the more expensive side but if you want to shoot in 4K you're going to need an SD card that can capture in 4K like the CF express !
