Chicago: 45-Minute Family-Friendly Architecture River Cruise
We took a stroll through Navy Pier and saw the beautiful Centennial Wheel! Even if you don’t make it on the wheel, there’s plenty to see and do at the Pier
Navy Pier Centennial Wheel
We missed this during our recent trip, but can’t wait to come back and take our baby girl. It’s located within the Navy Pier!
Chicago Children's Museum
Seeing “The Bean” is always a cool activity! My daughter loved seeing her reflection in the art structure.
Cloud Gate
We also checked out the fountain and explored the park a bit
Millennium Park
A spot we attempted to visit but ultimately will have to come back for! With adult tickets being a little over $50 each and our little one already napping when we arrived, we decided to skip this go round until she is up and can enjoy it!
Shedd Aquarium
For the Foodies
We’ve had this restaurant on our list for quite some time so it was the perfect spot to try for our date night celebrating one year of parenthood! The food was great, drinks were amazing and the service was top notch! Will definitely return
Oliver’s
One of our favorite restaurants in Chicago! All of our guests also agreed!
Etta Bucktown
The cutest (and yummiest) breakfast spot! Located in Southport, it was the perfect way to start the trip. The ooey gooey cinna-biscuit is a MUST!
Little Goat Diner
Went to Ema for lunch and really enjoyed it! We tried a bunch of stuff on the menu and was not disappointed!
Ema
Before we made our way to the airport we stopped by The Hampton Social for brunch. So good! And they have high chairs for the kiddies
The Hampton Social - Streeterville
The perfect spot for happy hour! We took our daughter with us during our first trip and it was great!
Aba
Delicious food, beautiful interior and the cutest patio! We went as a family and it was very accommodating. We got the rigatoni, so so good!
Alla Vita
Just go, immediately! There will likely be a wait because they don’t take resys, but, well worth it!
Au Cheval — Chicago
Cocktails
Tucked away in Pilsen Yards, this 16-seat speakeasy was the perfect way to end the night! The host was so amazing and friendly and the drinks were unique and good!!
The Alderman
The cutest bar with outdoor patio. We spent our last night here having good drinks and vibing out. The food was good too!
SUNNYGUN
Checked out this neighborhood bar to watch the game and grab a few drinks.
The Staley
Where to Stay
This will likely be the hotel I stay at for each visit in Chicago. Customer service was top tier, clean property and rooms and the location was perfect!!
They also have cribs for the kiddos.
Loews Chicago Hotel
One of the best hotels for families! We stayed here our first trip and it was booked up for our second. It’s modern, spacious, has all the amenities you need if traveling with kids and great location!
