I feel like these books brought out emotions in me that I wasn’t really sure how to name. Some are devastating, some are confusing, and some are beautiful. They’re not all fiction books which was interesting to me.

101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think
I will always be a Kafka girlie ok but something about this book brought out a grief in me that I didn’t know I had. Longing? Sadness? It was heavy. I loved it.
Letters to Milena (Schocken Kafka Library)
This book was insane. Like genuinely reading it left me in shock and I was scared.

A story about blue, longing and grief. Broke my heart a little

I love Mel Robbins. Her Ted talk genuinely changed my life, her books are all amazing
The Let Them Theory: Life-Changing Tool
This book made me realize how often I let myself down by not keeping promises to myself. It helped me change that.
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Helped me realize a lot of people are just misunderstood. The insight helped me understand people and motivations better.

A woman transcribes for a sex therapist and becomes obsessed with one of the clients. A lighter read, super funny, just strangely sad.
