Love this trail! It’s perfect for a stroll or run! It’s mostly paved with off shoot trails into the woods

For a small town the farmers market is SO good! There’s so many vendors and they host it every week day and Saturdays.
Hickory Farmers Market
Not directly in Hickory but closeby. The trail is a great workout and ends in a beautiful overlook!
Bakers Mountain Park
Such a great dog park! Pretty large and gated.
Fairbrook Optimist Dog Park
A cute park to walk around and has tennis courts!

At the heart of hickory! The downtown area has a perfect combination of both a walking path and cute shops!

Good eats and good vibes
Great beer and snacks! It’s next door to a bbq place and chicken restaurant. They usually have live music or other lively entertainment. Staff are also really nice!
City Walk Brewing & Distilling
I love the vibes here! Plenty of space to study and they have a huge selection of coffees!

Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill
An iconic restaurant! Old train station turned into a restaurant and shop. The wings and beer are amazing. My personal favorite is the blue cheese burger cooked medium well.
Olde Hickory Station
Now im not a southerner originally so the concept of burgers and sushi were strange at first. But separately, they are AMAZING here.
