Looking for ono food? Look no further!
I'll put it this way. I visited Cinnamon's 3 times IN ONE WEEK! and each meal I ordered pancakes and a few sides. Let me tell you they did not disappoint! Try their mahi mahi (the sauce is fresh and delicious) or their guava pancakes!
Cinnamon's Restaurant Kailua
The breakfast is DELICIOUS! I could eat their breakfast burritos everyday (and I have before!) from the gooey cheese to the hot eggs and bacon inside - this is my go to spot
Koa Pancake House
If you haven't gone to Liliha Bakery yet you are MISSING OUT! You have to try their mochi donuts (OHHH MY GOODNESSS the sweet dough and the flavorss) or their cocoa puffs! This is my first stop once I get off the plane!
Liliha Bakery
Thai Cuisine has been a part of the community for over 15 years and they continue to serve flavors that take me back to Thailand. Try their laarb, mango and sticky rice, ohh and pad prik king with a fried egg!

Looking for local food in Kailua? You gottta check out eastside kitchen and try their wings and grilled sticks. Some nights they have live music at the bar and they play sports games on the tv

Pop some fresh malasadas in your mouth on your way around the island. The lines can be long but they are definitely worth it!
Leonard's Bakery
Beautiful views and even better food. They also have beer if that's your kind of thing and every person I've taken here has raved about their beer. Try their burgers!

Get your body moving and see the island
Oh la la! Koko head is one of my go to's when I want to get some sun, see some sunshine, and be around people. It's where you can feel accomplished, tired, and see people 40 years older than you pass you 3-4 times before you even get to the top. Once...
Koko Head
Looking for beautiful views of Kailua? You gotta check out the Lanikai Pillboxes. They hike is on the shorter side and a few streets away are beautiful (less crowded) beaches with the softest sand
Ka'iwa Ridge (Lanikai Pillbox) Trail - AllTrails
Not for the faint at heart! This hike is high, has some thin pathways (you have to pull yourself up with rope on one section and you're surrounded by dirt/mud) but they views are unbelievable. I've only done it once and I don't think I'll do it again...
Kaʻau Crater Trail
A beautiful 3 mile hike with different terrain. I always pass families when walking this trail. Keep your eyes out and you might see the plane wreckage from WWII
ʻAiea Loop Trailhead
The lighthouse trail is paved. My favorite part is halfway up, when you get to the first overlook sign. WALK DOWN THE CLIFF ROCKS and youll find a path to the tide pools! You might see people swimming there. There's also spray painted arrows to show ...
