We turned 6 of these into my daughter’s mud kitchen- add a touch of whimsy with the decor and voila!

I used paint pens to create almost all of the designs as they give great control for the beginner painter (ps: dollarama usually has paint pens for less than $5 CAD). I used two coats!

We used what we already had which was Minwax stain in dark walnut, but it could be stained or painted any colour!

When the painting was completed we sealed everything in with an exterior polyurethane. We got 3 coats from the smal 236 ml can!
