I don't use out of the bag soil for much of anything. I make mixes to make my plants happy!
best potting soil around! It's an all in one with aged forest products, sphagnum peat moss, earthworm castings, bat guano, and fish emulsion. My plants do so well with this soil.

I love a good decorative pot but try to use clear nursery pots inside of them whenever possible for quick root checks! I use self watering pots for the transition of cuttings in water to soil!
I try to keep my plants in a nursery pot inside of the decorative container for drainage and checking the roots any time I need to!

Plant lights are one of the easiest ways to make happy plants. Whether it's a single clip light or a hanging light over a group of plants, there are lots of options.
One of the best plant light brands around! This has a large stake so you can put it in a large pot. I ziptied it to a plant stand that had a bunch of little plants on it. It provided great light coverage.

Propagating
I'm still undecided which is the best method of propagating- water, leca or stratum but have had success with all!
Propagating plants? This makes it easier! After I let my cuttings callous, I dip all of the nodes in this gel before putting in water or moss, to encourage growth.

I mix this in to the soil for all plants to prevent plant pests.
