I used to balance my GoPro on rocks and pray. Then it slid off a railing into a puddle. These bendable mounts grip poles, fences, and tree branches so you can stop improvising.

Handheld only works until you need both hands. I wiped out on my mountain bike once because I was holding my camera instead of the handlebars. Never again.

Nothing makes me close a video faster than watching someone's shaky handheld clip that looks like it was filmed during an earthquake. These fixed that problem across all my action cameras.

Dropped my camera in sand once and the lens looked like frosted glass afterward. Spent the rest of that beach trip filming nothing. Now everything gets a case or cover before I leave the house.

Shot a bunch of sunset clips that looked amazing to my eyes but came out dark and grainy on screen. Learned the hard way that action camera sensors need help when the light drops.

Recorded an entire skydiving jump on a cheap SD card that corrupted the file. That was a $200 jump I'll never get back. Now I only buy cards rated for high-bitrate action camera footage.

Nothing kills a shoot faster than a dead battery three hours in. I've missed sunsets, wildlife moments, and one really good wipeout because my camera died at the worst possible second.
