One of my favorite places to reconnect with nature in Oshawa is the McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve.Β 
Tucked away along the Lake Ontario shoreline, this peaceful nature reserve features scenic walking trails, marshes, forests, viewing platforms, and an incredible variety of wildlife.Β 
It's home to hundreds of plant species and is a popular spot for birdwatching, photography, and quiet walks in every season.Β 
I especially enjoy how peaceful it feels, even though it's only minutes from the city.Β
