My Hospital Must Haves for the Mama. These are all items I packed and used for my hospital stay during and after birth.
Perfect for keeping mom cool during labour and contractions. Also used for baby on their stroller afterwards!
Portable Stroller Fan
Keeps your water cold for during labour! Easy to carry, and I brought it with me to the hospital. It kept my water cold for the majority of my stay! The Yeti is my favourite!!
Reusable Water Bottle
Loved having non-slippery socks while in the hospital. Perfect to wear especially when walking from the bed to the bathroom, bassinet, etc.

The hospital did provide some disposable underwear - but these were so comfy. I would throw in a couple extra in my bag for the hospital.

Pacifier 0-3m
A few undershirts/onesies to keep for baby. Doesn't have to be fancy, but easy to take on and off for changes
Baby Bodysuits
We had a summer baby, and these were lightweight blankets! They were perfect for wrapping up baby but ensuring she stayed cool. We used them as burping clothes and everything! So easy to clean too!
Cotton Muslin Swaddles
We tried, the nurses tried, everyone tried to swaddle our baby but she was an escape artist! These swaddles were perfect and we used them for the first 3 months of her life!

For Dad/Partner
Because he’s not just the support person—he’s part of the story. Here’s what helped (or would’ve helped!) my partner feel prepared, useful, and a little more human during labour, delivery, and those early hospital hours.
The hospitals can run cold, and although I was sweating (doing all the work will do that to ya LOL) my husband was freezing! So make sure he grabs an extra sweater, regardless of the weather outside!

Any snack will suffice, at least for my husband! But these were great to have as a snack!
Protein/Energy Bars
I highly recommend the Yeti Ramblers. It keeps water cold, and is obviously refillable. Your partner can bring water with them, it can stay cool, and it means less times they leave the room. BONUS, if you run out, you can drink theirs LOL
