Road Trip Pitstops

Montgomery, AL
Fun restaurant where you can use a card to tap and pour your own beer- either small samples or full glasses. The food is good too!
Tower Taproom
Great, little museum on F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald. Zelda’s art and writings are especially interesting!
The Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald Museum
This is the main reason people come to Montgomery, Alabama. An incredibly moving and meaningful monument to slavery in the United States spread across three main sites: the museum, the memorial, and the sculpture garden. Take a trip to visit all thre...

Road Trip Pitstops
An absolute must if you are on the road in Mississippi. Such a fun stop and the food is delicious. I usually go for a pulled pork or brisket sandwich and the Mac & Cheese, but my friends rave about the ribs.
The Shed Barbeque & Blues Joint
Lives up to the hype. I like to get the chopped brisket sandwiches. The bathrooms are very clean. Gone are the days of stopping into a sketchy gas station late at night on a road trip.
Buc-ee's
Baton Rouge, LA
Fun and cute pizzeria with a nice patio and music theme. I like the Mamma Mia pie and the hummus. Their $5 martini special on Saturdays is really good too.
Red Zeppelin Pizza
Technically across the bridge in Port Allen. The nicest staff and great bbq! Make sure you get the potato casserole.
Cou-Yon's Cajun BBQ
My favorite pizza in Baton Rouge! Super thin crust. Open late so good after a night out. Not sure what they’re going to do now that Schlitz is discontinued.
