Riverside park is pretty and has a ton of space for picnic days or even just going for a walk outside and is also big hit in the summer with the splash pad
One of my top places to go on the weekend! I love all the fresh produce! There are several booths inside with art and other hobbies! Over all it is a good way to spend a Saturday morning!
Pet friendly! Which is important to all the doggo parents out there like me!
If you want a quiet walk next to the river this is for you! Another good one for pets also!
So much for the entire family do including the pets!
There is almost always something going on here on the weekends! Worth it to check it out!
This tail flat for the most part! Dog friendly! This trail does pass through private property and some livestock fields so please be mindful of that when you visit!
Anything from, hiking, biking, or just a scenic drive the Blue Ridge Parkway never disappoints!
If you're lucky on a good day you will see the otters!

Hands down one of my favorite places to get pizza!
So, so good! More of the mom and pop hangout vibe, down to earth kind of place! Definitely a yes for me!
If you want fine dining then William & Henry is it! I don't think i have ever had a better steak!
I tend to go for more foreign foods than american, so I'm all for a goof Japanese resturant! Mizumi is currently my favorite!
The best place if you are feeling Indian food! I love, love, love this place!
