I promise this is the best bagel in the DMV. super cheap and great menu options. multiple locations! I recommend the OG Bethesda location for an authentic experience.

this is a huge DC chain, but by far my favorite coffee chain out of the seeminly endless options in the city. I love the Rosslyn location because they have lots of space to work plus they serve alcohol! (did someone say espresso martinis???)
for five coffee roasters
the BEST sandwiches if you need something for lunch in the city. these things are massive, filling, and extremely delicious. I would eat here every day if I could.

my fave Italian spot in the DMV! this one is located in Arlington (Ballston specifically). they are famous for their table-side carbonara and they often have live music on weekend evenings!
