We have officially started our very first homeschool year! We have a kindergartner and a prekindergartener and they are so excited for the school year. A lot of the items we are using we've gotten over the years and the notebooks, pencils, binders and other office supplies we bought over the summer. It doesn't take a lot to start your homeschool journey, don't think you have to have a complete classroom setup in order to start. You can make due with a lot of what's already in your home. However, it seems the signature vibrant colors like pinks, fuchsia, corals and oranges are taking the backseat to pastel yellows, greens and blues. Plaids are sticking around (I know, usually seen in the fall) but in browns, greys, lighter shades of blues and whites in lightweight fabrics. Pinstripes and a minimalist coastal look are also trending. Think stripes, navy, light blues, beiges, cotton skirts/dresses, wind-resistant jackets & Sperry boat shoes! Just remember, style is personal. It's what you want to tell people about yourself. The best way to enjoy styling your clothes and home is to make it YOU!

Traveling with kids can feel like you have to bring your entire house with you. As a former overpacker, I finally narrowed it down to just 1 travel/diaper bag and a small carry on with the necessities. Basically: spare clothing, snacks, entertainment, bathroom emergency needs, and cleaning items.

As a mom of 3 young children I have done so much research on footwear concerning better foot health. My kiddos have wide feet and most conventional/fashion forward shoes constrained their feet/toes. Here are a few options I've tried and have provided a better fit for their growing feet.

I've had long hair for most of my life and taking care of it seems like a full-time job...but I love it. I enjoy the process, as well as styling it. My hair is on the thicker side, length is past my lower back, low porosity with 2c curls. I usually focus on moisturizing my hair and use clarifying shampoos to remove any product buildup and light oils and light leave-in conditioners. If you have any questions, drop a comment!
