Great food and service. Good Southern-style food that is consistent, and the service is the best hands down! Located in Statesboro but well worth the trip.
Fordham's Farmhouse Restaurant
Not a lot of choice nearby, but it's pretty good for breakfast or a quick lunch.
Huddle House
Great buffet at a reasonable price. Best sweet tea around. The lunch buffet is always good. Located in Meter, Georgia, right off I-16.
Bevricks Char House Grille
Not a big fan of Mexican food, but this place is the exception. I love their taco salad. Located in Brooklet, Georgia
El Maguey Mexican Restaurant
A hole-in-the-wall place that serves great seafood at a reasonable price. On Hwy 80 in Ellabell, Georgia
I've been going there for more than 50 years. Great salad bar and seafood.
Captain Joe's Seafood, Midway, GA
Good Southern BBQ. My favorite is the half smoked chicken plate.

When you're really hungry for some Southern food. The buffet is always full and the service is good.
