If you go get some chargrilled oysters, or the praline chicken. The chips are made in house and pair well with their spinach dip.
On Fridays get the bayou trio pasta! Also do live music on weekends!

Great brunch and lunch. I haven't had anything on the menu that doesn't disappoint. Our favorite is the crab meat Benedict. So good!

The Pontchartrain Hotel
Dive bar in Baton Rouge. Live music on the weekends. Call before going to make sure their open, because sometimes they'll randomly be closed. That's the only thing I don't like about this place.

This was one of our favorite places to go for date night. Great food and drinks. They got a new chef and changed the whole menu. I can't say it was for the better because the last 2 times we went, we were really disappointed. Haven't been back since....

If you like to hike, you definitely should go check out Tunica. Have to watch the weather. If it's hot, make sure you stay hydrated and wear bug spray. I'm pretty sure in the fall, there's campsites too.
