Products I actually use and love for my own dog + my foster pups. I have a rescue mini goldendoodle of my own — Miso — who is a certified muncher, professional crumb investigator, and enthusiastic product tester. On top of that, I foster dogs through a rescue organization, which means I always have a rotating roster of pups in my home — big, tiny, shy, chaotic, and everything in between. Because of that, the products I keep on hand have to work for different temperaments, sizes, chewing styles, and adjustment periods. I’m also a Master of Public Health and a nutrition educator (for humans), so I naturally bring those same principles into my dog mom life. I think about preventative health, quality ingredients, enrichment, behavioral support, and sustainability — not just what’s cute or trending. For me, it’s about: • Supporting long-term health, not quick fixes • Choosing treats and supplements intentionally • Prioritizing dental care and daily routines • Investing in enrichment that supports nervous system regulation • And making sure everything is safe, practical, and foster-friendly This list isn’t random. It’s built from real-life use in a small Toronto condo with a high-energy doodle and rescue dogs adjusting to a brand new environment. If it survives Miso’s standards and works for my fosters, it makes the list.
