Hereditary (2018)
ANOTHER Oscar snub. It’s an unfortunate theme with the horror genre. Demi and Margaret gave it their ALL in this. The directing, the sound, the effects are mind blowing
The Substance (2024)
This movie kind of caught a bad rap because of the way it was marketed - however, I sincerely enjoyed it and thought it was extremely creepy. Love the score as well
Longlegs (2024)
I’m usually not a fan of found footage style horror - BUT I’m in love with this one. History and horror put together? Count me IN
As Above, So Below (2014)
Okay but this movie SCARED me. It feels like you’re going insane with the main character and it’s terrifying. Another film with GREAT sound design
Smile (2022)
The MUSIC is terrifying. The scene with the photos where the woman in the black dress is getting closer and closer STOP
Insidious (2010)
Bill is SO good in this and plays the part perfectly. The kids were so well cast and I loved the comedic relief from them, because this was another scary one lol
It (2017)
I actually liked this one better than the first one!!
Smile 2 (2024)
This is a good one. Nothing out there like it and it does a great job of slow building absolute terror
It Follows (2014)
This one is brutal but if you can handle a bit of gore, it’s SO good. Terrifying
Evil Dead Rise (2023)
Another instance of me loving the sequel better than the first one LOL. This one is my favorite of the franchise
Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)
The Annabelle movies are also a good time! I just love the entire conjuring universe

I love Jason Isaacs so that’s how I stumbled across this movie! The scenery is so stunning and the story is creepy
A Cure for Wellness (2016)
Slow building and absolutely terrifying. Hooks you in until the end
The Witch (2015)
SO good and will stand the test of time for years to come
The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005)
I get chills when I watch this movie. It’s so well done and genuinely scares you without relying on jump scares
Deliver Us from Evil (2014)
A classic that cannot be left behind! So unsettling
The Ring (2002)
I was pleasantly surprised to find how scary this movie was. The tent scene made me really uncomfortable and I don’t think I could watch that part again
Oddity (2024)
SO GOOD and so unique and so scary

Not for one second did I know where this movie was going to go. Hugh managed to scare me and I forgot it was him while watching it. A treat!!
Heretic
Okay so yes I do not like gore and there are some parts of this movie that I cannot watch. However I LOVE Mia Goth and she does a fabulous job of being absolutely nuts
Pearl (2022)
I absolutely loved this movie because there was a major twist I had no idea was coming and I was questioning reality after this was over. I found it on Netflix years back and have loved it ever since!

The Others (2001)
This movie has stuck with me for a few years now. I watched it with English subtitles and it was terrifying. I had to sleep with a little nightlight on after this lol
Veronica (2017)
I don’t recommend watching this if you’re in a poor mental state LOL however it is absolutely dreadful and terrifying. Acting is superb
The Babadook (2014)
I LOVE the whole conjuring universe, so this spin off is such a fun time. The nun is terrifying and we love her
