Everything here is something I’ve personally used or carefully researched and would confidently recommend to a new mom. I organized it into categories to keep it simple and focused on what’s actually practical, safe, and worth having. Whether you’re building your own registry or just browsing for ideas, I hope this list helps make the baby prep a little more fun and a lot less overwhelming!

Sleep
We use this every single night. The white noise helps our baby sleep longer, and the soft light is perfect for nighttime feedings.
Hatch Baby
Love having a portable option so naps feel familiar wherever we are.
Hatch Go
I love this because it doesn’t rely on WiFi, so it feels extra safe and reliable. It’s easy to use, the picture is clear (even at night), and it gives real peace of mind when our baby is sleeping.
Momcozy Video Baby Monitor
Perfect for babies who like to keep their arms up while they sleep. It helps them feel secure without fighting the swaddle, which made sleep so much easier for us.
Love to Dream Swaddle UP, Organic Cotton 1.0 TOG
Such a great option for summer babies. It gives that snug, swaddled feeling during the early newborn weeks without being too warm.
Air Light Swaddelini Summer Sleep Sack
We don't have a lot of space so I wanted to get something that can easily transition from bassinet to a crib. So sturdy and amazing wood quality. Also love the fact the both the bassinet and crib can be on wheels.
The Wave Crib
Loved using this for those late night feeds to give just the right glow. This was also perfect for travels.
Baby Night Light
A must during seasonal changes, knowing the room temperature made dressing her for sleep so much easier.
Digital Thermometer
Feeding
LIFESAVER. Worth every dollar and my #1 recommendation for new parents.
Momcozy Baby Bottle Washer, Sterilizer & Dryer
If you’re planning to breastfeed and use bottles, these are a great option. They’re LC recommended and made of glass, which I personally prefer for a non-toxic bottle choice.
Evenflo Balance + Wide Neck Glass Bottles
One of those everyday essentials you end up reaching for nonstop. They’re soft, absorbent, and the 360 design means you can just rotate instead of constantly changing bibs. We’ve used them since newborn. I ended up purchasing more.
Konny Baby Bibs Set
So versatile! I loved this for nursing, but it was also so helpful during those early days for supported tummy time and then later for supported seating. One of those items we used way more than expected.
snuggle me Organic Nursing Pillow
You truly can’t have too many burp cloths, especially during the drooling phase. I love these because they’re great for multiple uses and the pink gradient is perfect for girl moms.
Muslin Burp Cloths, 100% Cotton
OK I did so much research on high chairs and this was my top choice. The only high chair with silicone straps and not fabric. I just started using this and let me tell you having a highchair that is easily wipeable is SOOO important.
Mockingbird High Chair - Natural
Tiny silver heroes! Super soothing for sore nipples, reusable, and honestly made those early breastfeeding days way more manageable.
Silverette Silver Nursing Cups
I thought I didn't need this but it was so good to collect colostrum before baby came. Also just a great reliable pump incase you don't like the electric ones.
Medela Breast Pump
This is a great alternative if you can't find the evenflo bottles. And if you want the evenflo nipples fit with these.
Philips Avent Natural Glass Baby Bottles
Bath
Since we only have a stand-up shower, this tub was a must-have. It worked perfectly from the newborn stage and we’re still using it now.
Skip Hop Baby Bath Tub
My favorite gentle shampoo that actually works. It cleans thoroughly and removes lingering scents, unlike some other ‘nontoxic’ options I’ve tried.
Pipette Baby Shampoo + Wash
Such a helpful tool during the newborn stage to make sure the bath water is always just right.
Baby Bath Thermometer
I have mixed feelings.. it's super gentle and works great, but I’m not a fan of the new scent. I stick to the unscented version now.
Mustela No Rinse Micellar Cleansing Water
We started using this when we had to deal with baby acne, and it worked wonders! Now we use it everyday.
Tubby Todd All Over Ointment
Originally bought this to clean bottles, etc. but then I used it for bath time to keep clean water on the side. Now I use it to soak her stained clothes. Has many uses and it's collapsible so great space saver.
Collapsible Wash Basin with Drain Plug
This brush is so soft I use it everyday.
Natemia Wooden Baby Hair Brush
This is the perfect bath cup! Great for scooping, playing, and washing! It’s sturdy but is also soft and malleable enough for a baby to play with it and put in their mouth.
mushie Baby Bath Rinse Cup
This is the most accurate baby reading. Quick and easy to use.
Safety 1st 3-in-1 Nursery Thermometer
Love how lightweight this is for daily use. It’s great when skin is normal, but I use something more hydrating if she has dryness or baby acne.
Pipette Baby Lotion
Personally didn't want to get the electric nail buffer so opted for this instead. The mini nail file is perfect for newborn and I still use it now to clean up the corners.
Frida Baby NailFrida SnipperClipper Set
I mainly use it on dry patches, diaper area, and any minor skin irritations.
Pipette Baby Balm
Another great baby shampoo. I bought this to keep at my parents house and I love it just as much as the pipette one.
Attitude Baby Shampoo & Body Wash
Diapering
I was trying to find a reason not to love this because of the price point but honestly it's great. We use it everyday. It's soft for baby's comfort and easily wipeable.
Keekaroo Peanut
Our favorite everyday wipes!
The Honest Company Baby Wipes
One-handed everything becomes a must, and this makes grabbing wipes so easy.. especially once baby starts moving around more.
OXO Tot Perfect Pull Wipes Dispenser
My absolute favorite diaper cream. We use it daily. It's gentle on baby’s skin, helps prevent diaper rash, and calms any irritation quickly. Trust me on this one!
Earth Mama Organic Diaper Balm
Not a must-have, but definitely a nice-to-have. It keeps things mess-free so you’re not getting diaper cream all over your hands.
mushie Diaper Cream Applicator
Love this diaper pail! Easy to use one-handed, and even 8 months in it really keeps odors contained. We chose the smaller size so we can empty it more frequently.
