This is my favorite flour to feed my starter. I used it from day one until this day. Of course you can use an alternative which I will share but as long as it is non-bleached you’re good to go for feeding your starter.
All-Purpose Flour
All you need is this jar and this spatula you could either use the cap and not keep it on tight or you can use the cloth cover I will switch between the two as I have about six of these jars going now lol
Sourdough Starter Jar
You could use whole wheat flour if your starter needs a little boost. Every couple feedings I’ll put a few spoonfuls of this into my starter and it amazes me how much it comes to life!
100% Whole Wheat Flour
This is another good one that you only need a little bit of if your sourdough starter seems to be really hungry or not growing. It just gives it that little boost it needs and the next day you’ll be amazed.
Organic Medium Rye
You will need a food scale that measures in grams because you will need to make sure your measurements are pretty precise within the first month to third month before you get the feel of it
