Great value for Omakase including a wide variety of sushi and other traditional dishes! A little bit more on the quiet side during dining - for reference.
Sushi Bar Kakizaki
Awesome fit out with anime playing on a projected wall. Food is amazing and service is great. Super Vibey for a good hangout with friends.
Bounty of the Sun
One of the Go-to places to get the freshest sashimi and sushi platters. They also do my favourite Hoki Rolls with mixed scallop and salmon!
Hinoki Japanese Pantry
Quaint Japanese restaurant in the suburb of Collingwood. Their food has a homemade touch and the Potato salad is to die for!!
Akasiro
Another sushi and sashimi go to! Pre-order platters of sushi and even do some grocery shopping for any essential Japanese products!
Suzuran
A cute homey Japanese cafe that is super cosy and very popular on weekends. Be sure to come in early as they don't take reservations!

Ex-Komeyui chef - amazing sushi for affordable price. Must Try!
ORIANNA SUSHI CAFE
The most authentic family run Udon store. There is a booth within the store to watch them make fresh handmade udon noodles!
Musashino Udon Kan
One of the most affordable but amazing Omakase menu's. Must try - especially their famous Oyster sushi!
Shira Nui
I’ve been going to this cosy Japanese restaurant for years. Note they’re closed on Sunday and Mondays. Great Chirashi bowls!

A fairly new Japanese style cafe in Cheltenham which does brunch, matcha and even onigiris!
SANA Coffee | Japanese Inspired Cafe
They serve delicious matcha and strawberry shortcakes here! I’ve bought multiple cakes here! Plus coffee and food are good!

One of the original sushi trains - this is a hidden sushi train tucked away in the middle of China Town. Still quite affordable for a wide range of sushi train!
