i prefer the 8mm beads for the pieces i make, but you can use whatever you'd like! this listing offers a lot of color options. i do customize the beads for my pieces, but acrylic beads are a great option for beginners!
500PCs 8MM Smooth White Acrylic Round Beads
this is my preferred cord for my pieces, but really anything will do!
.5 mm Twisted Nylon Cord
these are really great options for starting out with smaller beaded pieces because they already have finials on the ends!
Wooden Dowel
if you want to experiment with changing the colors of dowels, adding your own finials, or using different sized rods, these are a good option to customize!
50Pcs Wooden Dowel Rods
i use this to end my strands of beads. i prefer these over knots to make sure each strand is taut and the ends of the strings lay flat
i have seen other beaders use pony beads and they work really well and have endless color combinations

tools
these are a must have tool for my beading. i'm rough on my tools so i do go through quite a few so the 18 pack is my go to.
18 Collapsible Beading Needles
if you choose to use the crimp beads, you'll need a pair of these!
Flat mouth pliers
organizers
this is my favorite way to organize beads by color while i'm working on a piece! i can just rotate and grab beads while working on a singular strand and it doesn't take up a lot of space in my work area
Clear Lazy-Susan Organizer
i've shared these on other lists, but i keep all my beads and supplies in these boxes! they fit perfectly on an ikea ivar shelf, which is a huge bonus.
Plastic Storage Boxes
