My fall capsule, edited down to the pieces I’d genuinely want in my closet. Easy to mix, easy to rewear, and cute enough that I’d actually look forward to getting dressed.

🤎 THE ESSENTIALS
The pieces I’d build the whole capsule around. Nothing complicated — just really good basics that make getting dressed so much easier.
Why I like it: A cream knit is probably my favorite fall basic. It gives that cozy fall look without feeling overly trendy, and I can throw it over jeans, a skirt or a button-down.
Cream Cable Knit Sweater
Why I like it: I’m still a straight-leg jeans girl. They’re relaxed without looking sloppy.
Straight Jeans
🧥 THE LAYERS
This is where the outfit starts feeling like fall. I love layers that can completely change a basic jeans-and-tee combination.
Why I like it: My favorite “I didn’t try that hard” trick. Throw it over jeans and a basic tee and suddenly the whole outfit looks expensive.
Oversized Blazer
Why I like it: Chocolate brown is basically made for fall. I love it with cream, denim, black and a little burgundy.
Chocolate Brown Cardigan Sweaters
Why I like it: For when the sweater + jeans combo needs a little attitude. I like having one slightly edgier piece so the capsule doesn’t feel too predictable.
Faux Leather Bomber Jacket
👞 THE SHOES
I want my fall shoes to actually earn their closet space — comfortable enough to wear all day but cute enough to finish the outfit.
Why I like it: One of my favorite fall shoes because it makes jeans look polished without feeling too dressed up. And yes, I’d absolutely wear them with cute socks.
Loafers
Why I like it: A good ankle boot instantly makes an outfit feel like fall. I’d go brown if you already own a black pair.
Ankle Boots
👜 THE FINISHING TOUCHES
The little things that make a basic outfit feel styled. I’d rather have a few really good accessories than a closet full of things I barely use.
Why I like it: This is the kind of bag I’d actually carry every day. Relaxed enough for jeans and sneakers, but still makes the outfit feel pulled together.
Brooklyn Shoulder Bag 28 | Bags
Why I like it: Basically a wearable blanket 😂 But honestly, an oversized scarf is one of the easiest ways to make a simple sweater-and-jeans outfit look more styled.
Maeve Solid Brushed Fringe Scarf
Why I like it: This is my little “I have a style” piece. Tie it around your neck, on your bag or through your belt loops. It can completely change a simple outfit without adding another bulky layer.
