There's regular fall, and then there's a Southern California fall. While our weather may not get as chilly, and we don't have as many leaves to change colors, the city still gets into the spirit of the season with endless activities and fall adjacent fashion. Light layers in darker colors are common for this time of year, although you best believe we're bringing our sweaters out when the temperature gets below 65 degrees!

If you're like me then you're longing for the fall season of your childhood where the air was a little colder, the leaves crispier, and a new episode of Vampire Diaries was on tv at 8 p.m. This year I'm digging my tall UGGs out of my closet and buying skinny jeans for the first time in years to recreate some of that magic from the fall of 2009. Below is what's on my shopping, reading, and to-watch list!

As a tennis girlie who plays multiple times per week, I've established a sort of uniform for my classes and practice sessions. Tennis is a year round sport so it's important for me to have options that can adapt to the weather which is why you'll see a spring/summer and fall/winter lists. I'm partial to Lululemon for my workout gear but have included other options that I've tried and liked as well!

Some of my favorites I use to survive Lagree/Solidcore classes! I started my lagree journey earlier this year and it's been a fantastic addition to my weekly workouts. While the classes are challenging, I always walk away with a sense of accomplishment. For these types of classes, I prioritize reliability and comfort because while the classes are a stuggle, my outfit shouldn't be struggling along with me!
