Some of the stuff I've used and like for product photography--backgrounds, props, etc.
I love these backdrops for my photos. They changed the way I present my products and I also enjoy the community. The owner, Mandy, is super friendly and listens to her customers' feedback. The FB group is fun.
The Official Replica Surfaces Store
This is where I get my fake cupcakes for product photography. People often say they look delicious and don't realize they're fake! Customer service is great and she will work with you to customize products.

Use cloth napkins as styling towels. They're an easy way to add a pop of color or texture to the shot. World Market has lots of options for a reasonable price, and you can buy just one instead of having to get a whole pack.

Michael's is a good place for props, such as small gift boxes. I found a couple of nice square ones that I use a lot in my product photography.

I use this diffuser 99% of the time when I'm doing product photography. It's a must to help balance out the window light. I do all natural light so I have less control otherwise.

Just wandering the aisles at Michael's is a good way to get inspired. They have lots of items that can be used for props, like wooden blocks and shapes.
