Everywhere we went on our road trip from Boston to Bar Harbor in June of 2024! I recommend June, the weather was fabulous. We flew in on a Friday, spent Saturday in Boston, Sunday into Monday in Freeport, and Monday through Friday in Bar Harbor. If we were to do it again, we would've planned a day in Portland too.
