different body washes that I have personally loved
A really nice everyday gel body wash. It lathers well and feels super clean and refreshing, but doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or stripped
Nécessaire Body Wash & Shower Gel
Nice gel texture and good lather, and I love that there are so many scents to choose from without the luxury body wash price
Saltair Body Wash & Shower Gel
More of an oil-to-milk cleanser than a traditional body wash. It feels super silky on the skin and is especially good for shaving because it gives you so much slip. Leaves my skin moisturized straight out of the shower
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil
A more elevated, fragrance-forward body wash. The gel lathers really nicely, and the scents actually linger on my skin; I especially like this one when I want my shower products to layer with my perfume. So many different scents to choose from!!
Salt & Stone Body Washes
This one is almost like an in-shower body lotion + cleanser. The creamy formula is much richer than a gel body wash. Really good when my skin is extra dry or I don’t want to lotion after showering.
Hanni Rich Rinse Moisture Serum Body Wash
A serum-like body wash that feels more like skincare than a traditional shower gel. It has a lightweight, silky texture with a softer lather. Again, so many scents but the rose is my fave!!
CYKLAR Rose Bud Sensorial Body Wash
exfoliants
use in shower to minimze body acne
Nécessaire The Body Exfoliator
My go-to when I’m dealing with rough texture or tiny bumps. It’s a physical + chemical exfoliant, so I only use it 1–2x a week, but it makes a noticeable difference on areas like my arms and legs
First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA
A much more intense exfoliating bar for when I actually want to buff away rough skin. The microcrystal texture is especially good for KP, ingrowns, and stubborn texture. I personally use this as targeted treatment for my arms and back
Buffing Bar Exfoliating Body Bar
A nice middle ground between a regular cleansing bar and a body scrub. It gives you gentle physical exfoliation every time you use it, so it’s great for keeping rough areas and ingrowns under control
Nécessaire The Body Exfoliant Bar
post-shower must haves
french pharmacy fave for glowy skin and moisturized hair
NUXE Body Oil (Huile corps)
100000% my first recommendation for post-shower body oil. Cannot live without this. Lightweight body oil that absorbs surprisingly quickly and gives my skin a really pretty, healthy-looking sheen without being greasy
OSEA Body Oil
So rich and thick. The whipped texture feels much lighter than a traditional thick body butter, but the argan oil makes it really nourishing. Great for dry skin when regular lotion isn’t enough.
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter
Perfect for everyday use or layering under a body oil when I want extra moisture.
CYKLAR Ceramide Milky Essence for Full-Body Hydration
Has ceramides + lipids to help with really dry skin, but still spreads easily and doesn’t feel too heavy
