used this yarn to knit the porcelain sweater, it is a more rustic yarn (so not soft) but to me it is not itchy. It is a more “toothy” yarn so it works very well for colourwork.

A very good fiber to wear in the summer. The combination of the linnen and the small gauge leads to garments with a beautiful drape. The yarn can be a bit splitty though which makes it a bit more difficult to work with. always wash projects with this...

used for my som cardigan (by cookie the knitter). The yarn is buttery soft and really nice to work with and wear. it does grow a lot with blocking when doing lacework so block you gauge swatch!

A very affordable yarn to give some fluffy effect to your project. It is not the softest alpaca ever though and I personally think it works best when held together with another yarn. I used this for a sweater and the leftovers for a scarf and it held...

My absolute favourite sock wool. It is affordable but also one of the softer sock wools out there. So far it has held up really well.

used this yarn for the festival sweater by petiteknit. It is very soft but still holds up well over time, did not grow that much when blocking.

This yarn is not the softest (on the contrary even) but it holds up very well over time, gives good structure and is very warm. I have heard it is even somewhat water-resistant but I have not tested this yet. This yarn is best used for outerwear (glo...

This is truly one of the softest yarns out there, but it is sadly not very cheap. It holds up pretty wel when held together with something else (I did with a strand of merino), I have not held it single for a high friction piece so I don't know how i...
Baby Alpaca

Used this for the tulip loop sweater. It is buttery soft but I would recommend it for mostly stockinette sweaters instead of cabled ones because it will shrink back to its smaller form when wearing.

used this yarn for the clematis sweater. It is very soft and really lightweight. it pills a bit but not very much, depilling once a year is enough.
DROPS Air - A medium thick blow yarn made of baby alpaca and merino wool

This yarn is incredibly soft and lightweight but it is a pain to work with when not holding it with something else (your needles get stuck in the little loops).
