She couldn't reach anything above 30 inches, so I needed shelves that sat low and showed book covers facing out. These went up in one afternoon and she started grabbing books on her own the very next morning.

A plain rectangle shelf wasn't going to cut it. She wanted something that looked like it belonged in a storybook. These novelty shapes made her actually excited about the reading corner.

Before these, reading time meant me pulling books out of a tall shelf she couldn't see into. Now everything sits at floor level where she browses like she's at a tiny bookstore.

Getting her to pick a book was step one. Getting her to sit still and actually read it was step two. These turned a random corner into a spot she runs to after dinner.

She had 80 books and no system. I needed something visual enough that a three-year-old could sort by herself without reading a single word.

Not every book looks good displayed cover-out. These have covers so appealing she grabs them constantly, and they're the right size and weight for toddler-height shelving.
