Restaurants (mostly for dinner)
SF restaurants I’ve dined at
Wow this meal blew me away. Everything is seasonal and delicious. I had a pea-infused cocktail, sugar snap peas, prawns, tonnarelli pasta, and pork collar. The best espresso martinis
Rich Table
Fresh, immaculate, warm and inviting
Saru Handroll Bar
Really lovely Korean establishment. Definitely overpriced. Opt for a la carte if possible.
SAN HO WON
8/10 food, 10/10 vibes
Loló
An understated, classy establishment. The food takes the stage. We shared a dry aged steak ($120), it was delicious but too much meat for me. I’d try the duck next time. Michelin guide.
The Morris
a san francisco staple since 1979. californian classics like roast chicken for 2, acme bread, and stemple creek ranch bavette steak
Zuni Cafe
classic chinatown casual resto
Z & Y Restaurant

Saap Ver Damn Good! Thai street food
So yummy and gorgeous, albeit being a total tourist attraction. Well worth the visit.

One of the best meals I’ve had in SF. Amazing pasta and pizza and natural wine selection. Feels cozy.

Get the clam pizza. expect a 20 minute wait in weekends
Golden Boy Pizza
A bit touristy, not as good as their original restaurant but still great
Flour + Water Pizzeria
The slices are massive. I had one slice and that’s all my lactose intolerant self could handle
Tony's Pizza Napoletana
We eat here often bc it’s in the neighborhood. Great pizza, even better wings on Sundays during football season
Long Bridge Pizza Company
Decent pizza place with sourdough crust in Potrero hill
Goat Hill Pizza
really great pizza for large groups

wow the hype is so real. expect at least an hour wait - I usually put my name on the list then go for a walk on the hills (usually to the community garden), then meander back. I've also waited at the saloon bar nearby and the brunch after a bloody ma...
plow
8/10 food. airy and aesthetic interiors, good for a dressed up brunch with the girls, or a power brunch for business. where i'd take parents when they come into town and they wanted a special brunch.
The Tailor's Son
Queer, whimsical restaurant. michelin 1 star. we got the prefixe which i felt i overpaid for.
Hilda and Jesse
Bars/nightlife
Classic SF watering hole. I love starting the night here.
Vesuvio Cafe
An intimate space bringing in the funniest comedians. Great wait staff, yummy fries.
Punch Line San Francisco
Cash only. The best live band with 3 guys on horns and a lead singer with a harmonica. Fun dancing that never feels old. People of all ages. It made me feel like I was in that bar in the movie Sinners.
The Saloon
I usually end the night here. Lovely cocktails, usually crowded with lively 20-something’s.
Bar April Jean
i come here at least 1x a month. great natural wines that you can purchase by the bottle and hold onto as you hit the dance floor
Bar Part Time
the room in the back plays 90s r&b, drake, and bad bunny

always a fun time of dancing. on divisadero. every time i've gone i've seen pro skateboarders (and nico hiraga)
Madrone Art Bar
food is great and wine is even better
GiGi's Wine Lounge - Wine Bar in San Francisco, CA
a great place to go while you wait for a table to open up at gigis. cash only, bartender might take a while.
