This book can definitely be confusing, but it offers an interesting look into how many men view women, rather than how they should actually be viewed. Heartbreaking read.
The Virgin Suicides
The romance in this book is absolutely astonishing, considering the two characters aren't meant to be in love. I wish I could read this book for the first time again. An absolute staple book for anyone wanting to read a romance with a fantasy kick.
The Shadows Between Us
The Geek Girl series is the first time I've ever felt represented in a book. Absolutely amazing representation of autism/dyspraxia by an autistic/dyspraxic author.
Geek Girl
The way this book is written is super engaging. It includes interviews, documents, etc which makes you feel part of the investigation.
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder
The YEARNING!!! I'm obsessed with this series.
The Cruel Prince
This series had such an impact on me in my late teens. Honestly just want to run away to a little castle now.
The Selection
A slightly unpopular opinion, but I was (and still am) obsessed with this book. The plot twist had me sobbing on the edge of my bed.
We Were Liars
This series had me in a chokehold for a LONG time. Literally everything I did was Harry Potter themed. If you've not read them yet, now is the time.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Perhaps this book should be renamed ‘The places I’ve cried reading this book'
The Places I've Cried in Public: Book
This book felt relevant to current affairs, even though it's a fantasy book. It also has a really lovely romance with a LOT more to come in the next book.
Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross | Waterstones
Non-Fiction
This book absolutely changed my view on EVERYTHING and taught me so much about society and why we need feminism!!
Entitled: How Male Privilege Hurts Women
A super honest talk about autism in teen girls, and how to cope. I read this before being diagnosed because my therapist recommended it. It's a perfect way to open up the conversation between children and caregivers and help navigate the teen years.
