Going to the beach when you're in Fort Lauderdale is a no-brainer. The beach is clean and very long parking can get a little crazy but if you go early there should be plenty of space and the price is very affordable.

If you're willing to take a drive north peanut Island is worth the trip! Beautiful clear water, can be kayaked to!

A must for those that like art galleries, shopping and food. Lots of interesting galleries that always have something new and a great place to find gifts.
Las Olas Boulevard
We always try to go kayaking when I visit Florida, but night kayaking in the best! It's a great way to see the city on the inner coastal.

If you're a little further south of Fort Lauderdale or just looking for a slightly different vibe Hollywood is great!

If wine is more your speed, this cozy little wine bar is a must-see. Delicious wine with lots of variety and a good selection of small plates.
Rebel Wine Bar
If you're looking for more of a brewery vibe, this is steps away from 10th level tavern. Nice atmosphere. Great beer!
Funky Buddha Brewery
If you enjoy a speakeasy vibe and don't mind paying a little bit more, this is a very cool place. You must book a reservation to go as they only hold 10 people at a time. The cocktails and food were both amazing and the bartender was extremely friend...

Bulegreen Cafe Yard
I went here on my last trip and absolutely loved it. Their iced coffee is the best and they use frozen coffee as their ice cubes. No watering down your drink.
The Alchemist Café
Super bright and cute breakfast and brunch place. Their sweet drinks and meals are execellent if you have a sweet tooth. Try the cinnamon toast crunch french toast.

This one is on my list for my next trip. Small plates and delicious drinks highly recommended by my friends.

Solid sushi in the Wilton Manors neighborhood.
Tee Jay Thai Sushi
Excellent tacos and pretty good drinks for reasonable prices. Fun atmosphere too!
Tulio's Tacos & Tequila Bar
This one is outside of Fort Lauderdale, but if you like sushi, ramen, bubble tea and cocktails check it out. For those that like Asian cuisine and can't decide what they want this place is perfect. An upscale food court style.
Baoshi Food Hall + Bar
If you make it down to Hollywood this place is delicious! Fun food, great atmosphere and good drinks!
Krakatoa Indonesian Cuisine
If you're looking for a nice fusion restaurant that includes sushi and some American twists on some other Asian fare, this place is great. Right on the beach and the drinks are excellent.
S3 (Sun Surf Sand)
A must stop when you're at the beach. Grab brunch or lunch and then hit the beach again! Beautiful outdoor seating and a classic feel indoors.

For those days when it's not so nice outside, or you just need a break from the Florida heat.
If you're into video games and enjoy drinks you have to peep this spot! Solid drinks, all different gaming consoles and karaoke. I have never seen it packed which is perfect in my opinion!

If you're a book nerd like me, you have to check out old Florida bookshop. It's a very cozy vibe with lots of interesting used books to find and explore
