items Been traveling to the Moosehead Lake Region every year for the last 6 years. I have basically done everything there is to do in the entire area! Here I have listed some of my favorite places and finds over the years!
Our go to place to stay!! Great lodge, great cabins, great entertainment. You can rent boats, jet skis, kayaks and more. Ideal place for swimming and there is a water trampoline. Also a great area to fish off the coast!
The Birches Resort
The Moose Cruise is a wonderful boat ride for all ages. Going up a river that’s not populated with people so you can see moose and other wildlife in their natural habitat. It’s relaxing and exciting. The boat ride is about 3 ish hours.

Rockwood Bar and Grill is a fantastic place to go out to eat. There are lots of options for food, it’s reasonably priced, and it’s a great atmosphere!

This is a great souvenir store! They have so much apparel, decor and a huge outdoor section if you need anything for fishing, hunting, camping or biking! There is also a grocery store attached so this place has everything you could possibly need!
Indian Hill Trading Post
This place is beautiful! A great place to go hangout, swim, fish, go boating, hiking and more! There is a playground for kids, a campground and really nice bathrooms

A great place to hike, explore and take in all the breathtaking views this area has to offer! If you climb to the top you get a bird eye view of most of Moosehead Lake!

This is a fantastic place to get your morning coffee and some breakfast! Although it is pricey (also just the remote region you’re in) it’s worth it!
Greenville Grinds Coffee Shoppe
Best antique shop in the area! So many cool finds and just a great store! Although their hours are very confusing it’s worth it to go in if they are open!
