Beautiful botanical gardens with a cafe and beverage options. Huge conservatory with a children's garden and fountain shows! Great in summer and winter.
Longwood Gardens
has great walking/running trails all around the park, a dog park, a pond for fishing, and a playground! great place for all :)
Goddard Park
has a playground, pickleball courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, and walking trails that lead to Paradox Vineyard! great for pets, kids, and adults!
Elwood L. Crossan Park
has a playground and flag football fields with a concession stand. a walking/jogging trail goes all the way around the park!
Harmony Park
large open field with plenty of trails that go into woods for some shade. great place to walk a dog!
Peacedale Preserve
has multiple lots to the enter into, each with their own perks! great for bike riding, tubing down the river, walks, and bird watching!
White Clay Creek – Delaware State Parks
has a long trail that's great for walking and biking. there's a little hidden beach area if you go through a trail in a field - but you have to know where to look! if you go, let me know if you find it :)
