I, too, have fallen victim to this. But it's great. It like tubes (I guess?) around each eyelash so when you remove it, it's like you're taking your finger out of a glove. Just kinda comes off. No melty makeup residue.

If you use pimple patches and find them insufficient, I prefer these, specifically CVS brand. Can be cut to size. Also like them now for regular bandaid usage as they stay out and are definitely waterproof.
