Both of my kids have gone away for summer camps in many different forms including a traditional sleep away camp with no electric plugs and programs with dorm housing. I have a list of essentials they used and I will clearly label the setting they were used in. I am not affiliate at any sites but may have used links that may be affiliated with Benable.
This shower caddy has been well used and loved by my daughter for about 5 years. Perfect for traditional camps as it can be packed flat in a trunk.

If your summer camp or program allows electric fans, this fan is great. My daughter used at two college campus locations and it worked really well to cool down the hot dorm room she shared with a roommate. The bonus is that my daughter and son now use their fans in their bedrooms so its not a waste of resources.
TurboPoly™ Fans - DREO
This is a great laundry bag that has been used many times over the last 5 years. It doubles as a spot to carry blankets/pillows to camp. My daughter and son have both used this laundry bag with success.

For traditional camps, its imperative to have a clip on battery operated fan. USB Rechargeable products are great but when you are at a traditional camp and there are no outlets where you can charge your USB fan, having an option to use, batteries is great. This fan seems to have both the ability to be battery operated and USB...
Battery Operated Clip On Fan
Camps will tell you to pack rainboots and flip flops and all sorts of gear, but from experience, the kids live in their crocs. Everyone has them! They exchange jibbitz charms too! You can get a pair of flip flops for the shower, but they may just wear these too.

My daughter loves to read and this reading lamp was helpful for reading books at night at the traditional camp she attended. It has a rechargeable battery but it seems to last a long time, at least two weeks from her experience.
LED lamp for reading
Since my daughter's camp did not have a bathroom in her cabin and she had to walk a bit to the bathrooms, this headlamp was essential.

I've had these packing cubes for almost 10 years and they have been great to organize camp clothes. I have tried Ziplock bags but it gets very busy in a trunk and my daugther preferred these bags.
Packing Cubes for Clothing Organization
An alternative to flip flops, these slides make great shower shoes. If they end up not wearing them, they can be used for pre/post soccer/sport games and practice.

As I wasn’t sure if my daughter would do a traditional camp through high school I opted to use this Sterilite trunk instead. It was a good thing I went this route as she moved on to other programs that did not use a trunk. I found a few sellers on Et...

I like this sharpie to label items and clothing when I can’t use a label.

I got very large letters from this Etsy seller to put my daughter’s name on the top of the trunk. Great sticker quality and still looks great.

I found these bins to fit perfectly in the trunk and helped with organization. They come in a few sizes. After camp I used them around the house.

I have used Mabel’s labels over the years and they are great. They don’t wash off in the laundry and are great for clothing and items alike.
