The winter season is a great time to travel to Jordan. The crowds thin out, and the landscape feels moodier. From December to February, you can expect cool days and cold nights, especially in Petra and Wadi Rum. The north (like Amman and Jerash) also gets more rain in winter, so layers and weather-smart pieces really matter.
